Community Involvement

At Alpine Chiropractic we see part of our role being to deliver the message and to educate the community about the benefits of positive lifestlye choices.

Boyd Eaton MD, an expert in the field of nutrition and the modern chronic disease epidemic, states in his research article from 1985… ” Physicians and nutritionists are increasingly convinced that the dietary habits adopted by Western society over the past 100 years make an important etiological contribution to coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, and some types of cancer.”

Roberts and Barnard in their research article from 2005 state … “Overwhelming evidence from a variety of sources, including epidemiological, prospective cohort, and intervention studies, links most chronic diseases seen in the world today to physical inactivity and inappropriate diet consumption.”

Dr Eon recently completed a wellness certification program which focuses on the priciples of “Eat Well, Move Well, Think Well” and he does community talks on these topics.  Please contact the office if you would like to attend or require more information on these talks.
